The (Somewhat Fictional) Problem

Movie ticket prices have gone up year by year (source) while ticket sales have declined (source). Although still setting record revenue, studios have pushed for 3D movies, 4D seats, and various new technologies to entice people back to the theater for new enthralling experiences. At the same time, online streaming and rentals have been rapidly gained popularity. With these thoughts in mind, I explored designs of a website that would allow users to rate movies based on whether it’s worth watching in theaters, or more suited to be streamed at home.

This was a personal project to practice flows, wireframes, UX thinking, UI design, and animations.
